Places of interest in my Swanland ~ Sibu, Sarawak

Several interest places in Sibu.Clockwise from top left:Sanyan Tower, Swan Statue,Wong Nai Siong memorial park,The Yu Lung San Tien En Si Temple, Sibu Mosque, Fu Yuan Methodist Church and 7 storey pagoda temple.

The Rejang River is the longest river in Sarawak.


The pasar malam is a malaysian institution, popular with young and old alike. Every night hundred of stalls are set up. All kinds of goods & food stuff are sold.


The native market is the place to get a real taste of Sarawak. With its 700 stalls. It is open daily but is most popular on weekend.



Another interested place is Jubilee Park, it is opened in March 1993. It comprises an observation tower, sky steps, pavilion,landscape garden and BBQ area, lagoon.The park will cover more than 200 acres.
