Native handicraft~ Sibu is an excellent place to go shopping for native handicrafts. It consists of very fine wood carvings, bean work, rattan basket, woven textiles.
Sarawak pottery~


Sibu produced fine quality of Sarawak pottery. Designed are traditional and modern. Local ceremics are reasonably priced and make excellent souvenirs or presents.

The Rejang River is the longest river in Sarawak.


The pasar malam is a malaysian institution, popular with young and old alike. Every night hundred of stalls are set up. All kinds of goods & food stuff are sold.


The native market is the place to get a real taste of Sarawak. With its 700 stalls. It is open daily but is most popular on weekend.



Another interested place is Jubilee Park, it is opened in March 1993. It comprises an observation tower, sky steps, pavilion,landscape garden and BBQ area, lagoon.The park will cover more than 200 acres.
